SENIOR SUMMER THEATRE INTENSIVE

For Ages 14 and up

ABOUT THE PROGRAMME:

The Zamprogna Arts Senior Summer Theatre Intensive is a five week programme that begins with classes in various aspects of the performing arts, and culminates in the full scale production of a musical.

During the first three weeks, students will engage in a rigorous training program involving scene study, improvisation, devised theatre, movement, dance, singing, voice, and monologue work. At the end of this first phase of the programme, students will prepare an audition for our musical production. 

​

Instructors will assist students in preparing the auditions as an exercise in professional development, audition skills, and repertoire building. The auditions will be presented to the directors of our production, and all students who take part will be cast in the production itself. The audition process is part of the students’ learning and development.

​

The final two weeks of the program are used for rehearsals in preparation for our final musical production, which will be performed for the public at the end of the five weeks.
