GRAHAME RENYK

Grahame Renyk is a multi award-winning instructor and faculty member of the Drama Department at Queen’s University.  When he is not teaching, Grahame works in the theatre as an actor and director.


A member of Canadian Actor’s Equity, Grahame has performed and directed for theatres across Canada and in the US.  Recent directing credits include Spring Awakening (Theatre Mies, Kingston), Lilies (Queen’s University), For the Pleasure of Seeing Her Again, and Cut Loose (both for New West Theatre, Lethbridge, AB). Performance credits include several seasons with New West Theatre in Alberta and the Weston Playhouse in Vermont. 


He has taught directing, acting, and theatre studies at Queen’s, the University of Guelph, the University of Lethbridge, and in Hamilton for the Theatre Aquarius Performing Arts Programme. He is also the co-editor of a forthcoming special issue of Canadian Theatre Review about Canadian Musicals.
