MUSIC THEATRE INTERNATIONAL

In the summer of 2017, we offered our first ever Zamprogna Arts Summer Theatre Programme, modeled after the highly regarded summer programme created, developed, and operated in Hamilton for more than 30 years by our parents, Lou and Pauline Zamprogna.

The programme culminated in three sold out performances (plus a matinee added at the last minute due to high demand!) of the musical Rent at Hamilton's historic Zoetic Theatre. The show was an amazing success, and a wonderful way to kick off our first summer as ZamArts!

We are so proud of BOTH casts (there were so many talented students that we were able to double-cast most of the lead roles in the show)! The talent, passion, self-discipline, confidence, and professionalism they displayed during that process was amazing. It was so rewarding to see the students rise to the challenge of putting on such a complex show, not only as performers, but also as individuals. We set the bar high, and they exceeded our expectations every step of the way!

Watch Matt Joseph (as Collins), Chantel Furtado (as Joanne) and the rest of the students from the 2017 Summer Theatre Programme perform "I'll Cover You" at a rehearsal for Rent.
