STEPHANIE YELOVICH
Stephanie is a graduate of Wilfrid Laurier University with a BMus in Voice Performance and a Diploma in Opera. She is also a graduate of the Theatre Aquarius Performing Arts Programme where she studied under Lou Zamprogna.
Favourite opera credits include the title role in Ariadne auf Naxos with Opera NUOVA in Edmonton, Second Lady in The Magic Flute with Highlands Opera and Second Wood Nymph in Rusalka also with Opera NUOVA. Theatre credits include The Little Match Girl (Theatre Aquarius) and Pinocchio (GADZ Productions).
In the summer, Stephanie travels to Italy as part of Operavision Academy and has been featured in various concerts in Milan, Carrara, Urbania, and Busseto. She also has had the great pleasure and honour of learning from Maestro Richard Bonynge, one of the living masters of the bel canto repertoire. She studies with Maria Vetere in Niagara Falls, ON.
She has taught acting and voice for the Theatre Aquarius Performing Arts Programme since 2008 and is thrilled to be teaching for Zamprogna Arts in their inaugural year.
When she is not singing, acting or teaching, Stephanie maintains a business as a Reiki practitioner out of her home.
Stephanie finds great joy in teaching acting and voice and learns just as much from her incredible and inspirational students as they learn from her.
